What Sealed Grid is

Sealed Grid is a tool for tracking a trading card collection: it records which printings you own, shows set progress and shows prices where we have them. It is not a store, a marketplace or a grading or authentication service, and it does not buy or sell cards for you.

Prices are estimates, not advice

Prices come from third-party sources and are shown in US dollars with their source and the time they were fetched. They are estimates. They can be late, wrong or missing, and a card can sell for more or less. A price is not an offer, a valuation, or financial, tax or investment advice. Check the source before you buy, sell or insure anything.

Accounts

• You can use the landing pages and the iPhone app without an account. A website account is made by signing in with Apple, Google or Discord.
• You must be 13 or older to make an account.
• Each sign-in method makes its own account. We do not merge accounts, even if two methods use the same email address.
• Keep your sign-in provider account secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
• You can delete your account at any time from the Account page. Deleting it removes your data as described in the privacy policy.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or harms the service or other people.

Your collection data

What you enter is yours. You give us permission to store it and show it back to you so the service works. You can export it and delete it.

Acceptable use

Please use Sealed Grid the way it is meant to be used. You agree not to:

• copy pictures, prices, the card catalog or other data in bulk, for example with scrapers, crawlers or automated downloads, or build a competing database or service from them;
• use automated tools to load the service beyond normal personal use, or get around its limits, rate limits or security;
• resell or republish our pictures or data;
• attack, probe or disrupt the service, or try to reach other people’s accounts or data;
• use the service to break the law or someone’s rights.

Pictures, names and other people’s rights

Card pictures, names and symbols belong to their owners and are shown to identify cards. Having them on Sealed Grid does not give you any right to use them. Prices and catalog data come from third parties. If you own rights in something we show and want it removed, see the takedown page.

Sealed Grid is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Nintendo, Creatures, GAME FREAK or The Pokémon Company. Pokémon and card names are trademarks of their respective owners.

Plans and payment

Paid plans are not on sale yet. If they are offered, payment is handled by Paddle as seller of record, the price and billing terms are shown at checkout, and you can cancel from the billing portal.

No warranty

To the extent the law allows, Sealed Grid is provided “as is” and “as available”. We try to keep it accurate and running, but we do not promise that it will be error-free, always available, or that a scan or a match will always be right. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose: you can export your collection at any time. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any statutory consumer right, warranty or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Limit of our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of profit or data, arising from using Sealed Grid or relying on a price. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may change or stop parts of the service. We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed, and if a change matters we will say so on this site before it applies. Using the service after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to applicable law, disputes under these terms may be brought in the courts with jurisdiction in Indiana. Nothing here prevents you from using protections or bringing proceedings in the courts available to you under the consumer law where you live.
